Join us this October for a relaxing weekend retreat at the beautiful Court Farm in Somerset, a family run converted farm, surrounded by 10 acres of breathtaking countryside. With exquisite attention to detail the farm buildings have been immaculately refurbished with interior flair and utmost luxury.

This is the chance to join an exclusive and intimate retreat, with numbers limited to 10 places, all with large, luxurious twin or double rooms with en-suites. The retreat is open to all yoga levels. If you have just taken a couple of classes and have always wanted to go on a retreat but never made the leap, or you have a well established practice, you will find what you need.

Food is an important part of the experience whilst on a retreat, I am thrilled to be working with Nafia from UpRaw Food. Every meal you eat will be vegan/vegetarian, nutritious, freshly prepared and beautifully presented by our talented chef.

Travel:
Direct trains run from London Paddington to Bath Spa and Westbury train stations, which are both a 10 minute taxi ride from Court Farm. Driving: London (2h 15mins), Bristol (50 mins), Birmingham (2h 10mins)

Jay, The Yoga Glow

There will be at least four sessions with Jay over the weekend, including guided meditation, flow, yin and yoga nidra.

Morning sessions will be more dynamic to awaken the body and mind ready for the day ahead. In the evening we will tune our attention inwards with gentle and relaxing Yin & Yoga Nidra. The retreat is suitable for all levels of ability - if you are new to yoga, you’ll be supported & given options. If you are looking to deepen your practice, you will be challenged & guided safely.

On one evening we will dive deeper into a serene, tranquil space of inner peace with a sound healing gong bath, one of the most ancient forms of healing dating back thousands of years.

The sound of gong has a profound effect on people with most having the experience of floating in space, or in an ocean. Come in your comfiest PJs and cosiest socks and let yourself be transported to a realm of weightlessness.

your WEEKEND:

You are welcome to arrive any time after 4.30pm on Friday 11th October. There will be a welcome circle followed by a gentle evening yoga session to work out the travel kinks and start the relaxing weekend followed by dinner. Departure 11am Sunday 13th October.

Your day will look something like this:
- wake up to fresh juice/smoothies
- meditation/breath work/yoga - 90mins practice with Jay
- delicious breakfast prepared by Nafia
- country walk / mindful body, mindful gut workshop
- light lunch
- free time for massages, a soak in the hot tub, naps, read by fire or do absolutely nothing
- blissful evening Yin + Yoga Nidra / sound healing
- 2 course dinner
- cosy snuggles in front of the fire with a tea before bed time

This retreat is all about meeting like-minded people & making new friends over delicious nutritious food, coming together to find new inspirations & creating new experiences.

  2. You will hear back from me within 48 hours with information on how to reserve your place with a non-refundable £150 deposit. The remaining balance will be due by Saturday 31st August. Monthly payment plans are available.

  • Absolutely! Many yogis arrive independantly and leave with life long friends! You can choose between booking your own private room or stay in a shared room with other people of same gender.

  • This is a retreat for all levels. If you have been in my classes, you will know that I always provide options. If you’re new to yoga or feels like taking a kinder option, you will be supported. If you are looking to deepen your practice, you will be challenged and guided safely.

  • generally about 3+ hours. 1.5 hours in the morning - meditation, morning vinyasa; 2 hours in late afternoon - yin yoga, yoga nidra.

  • Not at all. This is your retreat, your space and your time! There are plenty of space to retreat to, have a nap, read your book by the fire. There are plenty of walks around too, and you can spend time in the hot tub

  • Your deposit is non-refundable, non-transferrable.

    If for any reason you cannot attend the retreat and need to cancel, please email as soon as possible and I will do my best to fill your place so that I can refund any payments made (excluding deposit). This may not always be possible however and if your place cannot be filled, the following cancellation fees will apply:

    • 8 – 12 weeks before the retreat start date: 50% of the retreat price minus deposit (deposit non refundable)

    • 8 weeks or less before the retreat start date: 100% of the retreat price.
